I often get the question, "How long should my podcast be?" 30 minutes? 1 hour? and my answer is, "As long as it needs to be." That said, there are various statistics floating out that 27 is a great number but not all podcasts are the same . Podcasts come in a bunch of different formats. Do what you think is best for the people you are trying to impact. Short episodes could work for solo podcasts or longer episodes for interviews. 

Quality is way more important than quantity in our opinion. 

The course is self-paced, allowing you to go through the material at your own speed. You can complete it in a few days or take longer if needed. 

The best thing to do to lower the barrier is to pick a topic you’re passionate about and knowledgeable in or want to be knowledgable in. Consider your target audience and think about what would interest or help them. A niche topic often performs better than a broad one. 

You can’t use copyrighted music without permission. Use royalty-free music from sources like Epidemic Sound, Artlist, or Free Music Archive to avoid legal issues. 

The best option as a beginner is to record in a quiet, echo-free space. Use a good-quality microphone, and edit your audio to remove background noise and awkward pauses. Consider using tools like Resound or Riverside for leveling and compression.

While not mandatory, a website can help with discoverability, provide additional resources for listeners, and serve as a central hub for your content. You can direct people to your website to sign up for contests, read blogs about the episodes or get more helpful content. Not necessarily. Solo podcasts work well for sharing expertise, while co-hosted shows can add dynamic conversations and perspectives. Choose what suits your style and goals. A benefit of starting a podcast on your own is that you will have full creative control and can make 100% of the decisions about your podcast.  

Easy. You can reach out to people in your network, industry experts, or those active in your niche on social media. Better yet, you can ask inside our private community.

This is hard but try to speak directly to your audience, invite listeners to share feedback, and create content they care about. Adding variety, like interviews or mini-series, can also maintain interest. You can create a feedback form for your website which you can use to start with. 

While some podcasters earn a significant income, it often takes time to build an audience and secure sponsors. Both ways can be monetized. Be patient and focus on providing value to your listeners. Podcasting is not typically a "get rich quick" venture, however you can make money if you have website and provide more value to your listeners by solving their problems. Affiliat e marketing is an easy revenue stream you can master. You can sell your own products. Your repurpose your content into educational resources. Start small and focus on providing value to your listeners first.
